These are from a series of screen-printed posters i made based on sounds i recorded in the Tate Modern turbine hall. The posters present an illustrative formation of the soundwaves that i constructed from the turbine halls’ architectural structure.

Six word story.

An illustrated response to my six word story, ‘Big pool. One jump. No splash’, based on a quote from Murakami’s novel The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, ‘Dying is the only way for you to float free.’
I took these photographs using slide film then projected them on to water and re photographed.

For love is blind…

‘Make a short film with a specific message for someone who will never see it.’

This is a kinetic sculpture i made in answer to the brief above. The sculpture circulates a strip of film embedded with braille baring the words “for love is blind and lovers cannot see the pretty follies they themselves commit”.

A valentines present for an ex-boyfriend… this is a cast of my teeth that i made in to a stamp that says ‘you make me smile’. I made it a few years ago.

This is a short film we made at college the other day when we were asked to make a one minute film abut sound. It is collection of the sounds we recorded in an hour condensed down and manipulated in to this one minute sound/visual clip.
